A Baby's Cry

                                        A tiny baby cries inside

Please Oh Please don’t let me die

Keep me safe within your womb

Don’t give my life to be consumed -

I know I’m little and can’t survive

Unless you help me stay alive

You may not think I’m very much

I’m just too small for you to touch  -

But if you’d see me you would know

I have my fingers and my toes

My heart is beating on it’s own

Why can’t you see, you’re not alone –

If I could talk , I’d say to you

“I love you mommy, don’t feel blue”

You didn’t plan me, this I know

Just let me stay and let me grow –

If you can’t keep me when I come

I’ll know you loved me by what you’ve done

You didn’t choose the easy way

You chose to give me my birthday –

A tiny baby cries inside

Please Oh Please don’t let me die

Keep me safe within your womb

Don’t give my life to be consumed.

A Quiet Sound

I heard a voice

Call out my name

But no one was around

I couldn’t see with human eyes

The one of quiet sound.

I heard a voice

Say “ You are blind”

But I will give you sight

You’re dead in your transgressions

I’ve come to give you life.

How could this be?

I asked myself

It’s dark and I’m alone

Be not afraid – you precious one

I’ve come to lead you home.

May I come in, He said to me

I am the light

The truth, the way

I am the one whom God did send

The wage of sin for you I’ve paid.

What must I do?

I cried aloud

Please tell me – please don’t leave

All you must do He softly said

Believe in Me, Believe!

I heard a voice

Call out my name

But no one was around

I couldn’t see with human eyes

The Saviour that I’d found.

I heard a voice

Say “ You’re my child”

Your sight I have restored

You heard me knocking at your heart.

You’ve opened up the door.

Take up your cross

And follow me

Let others see My love

It’s by your fruits that I am known

Now serve the on above.

It Only Takes A Minute

It only takes a minute

To stop to offer praise

To thank the Lord for all He’s done

And for His faithful care.

But a minute we find hard to take

Involved in worldly things

I can’t imagine lasting joy

These wants could ever bring.

“There’s no time for the Lord”

“I’m busy don’t you see?”

“I’m waiting”, He said softly,

“I want to set you free.”

Please stop and take a minute

To give Him his due praise

Tell Him that you need Him

In Oh so many ways.

Let His love possess you

Give up yourself for Him

Find lasting joy and endless peace

That nothing else can bring.

May I Come In?

May I come in ? I heard him say.

I am the truth.

I am the way.

I am the one who God did send.

To save all those who have gone astray.

Inner Peace

We must trust

In all we do

Especially when in doubt

We must ask for guidiance

All the days throughout.

Get on your knees

Confess your sins

He’s faithful to forgive

Give yourself to Jesus

He died and now He lives.

When hurts and fears

Surround us

And problems do arise

Entrust them to the Lord

No matter what the size.

He promised that He’ll fill us

With great peace and many joys

If we believe

And trust in Him

And truly make Him Lord.

I Have Seen The Beauty

I see the flowers bloom in spring

I hear the birds as they sing

I’ve seen the beauty of a deer

Praise the Lord!

I’ve seen the sun rise in the morn

I see the harvest of the corn

I’ve seen a rainbow after a storm

I watched my darling children born.

Praise the Lord!

I’ve seen lonely people saddened

Filled with love and gladdened

I’ve seen ruined lives restored to new

This is what the LORD can do.

Praise the Lord!

Thank You Lord!

Amen.

Hope

When bitter from rejection

And hurting from within

Don’t give up an objection,

Just recognise the sin.

God’s counsel will guide us

Don’t put up a fuss

Stay close to the Lord Jesus

This is a must.

What does this world offer

But heartache and dismay.

My desires are in heaven

And I’ll be glorified one day.

My flesh and heart may fail Thee…

But God will give me strength

For sin does not control me

For Jesus has been sent.

He is my strength and refuge,

I want to tell the world

That Jesus is my Saviour,

The one and only Lord.
